Magento to Salesforce Commerce Cloud, localized for 60+ countries

For an international fashion and footwear retailer, we migrated the storefront from Magento to Salesforce Commerce Cloud and unified the shopping experience across more than 60 markets — one platform, many countries.

The challenge

The retailer's growth had outpaced its aging Magento storefront. Localization was fragmented across markets, releases were slow, and page performance was hurting conversion on mobile. They needed a single, scalable commerce platform that could serve every market consistently.

Our approach

We re-platformed onto Salesforce Commerce Cloud using the Storefront Reference Architecture, and built an internationalization model that handles locale, currency, tax, payment methods, and content per market — without forking the codebase for every country.

  • Migration to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA) with a market-aware site architecture.
  • Internationalization for 60+ countries: locales, currencies, tax rules, and regional payment methods.
  • Catalog, customer, and order data migration from Magento, with validation and reconciliation.
  • SEO-preserving URL strategy and redirect map to protect organic traffic through the cutover.
  • Performance work — CDN, image optimization, and template tuning — for faster mobile pages.
